In this Ableton Push tutorial video, Ableton Certified Trainer and multi-instrumentalist Dan Freeman (CØm1x) demonstrates five useful techniques using some of the more advanced functions in Note Mode during a Live Performance. Dan takes us deeper into many Scale Mode functions to change PUSH’s interface to create a more personalized display. Learn how to switch between different scales to play chords in Note Mode and use hand shapes to create chord progressions. Dan also demonstrates how to navigate multiple functions to quickly program notes create variations using the Note Step Sequencer. In addition, learn how to automate notes within the Step Sequencer by using Step Automation in Note Mode. Finally, Dan jams out for us while demonstrating how to use the Repeat function to create groovy sounds.
